Product image retouching in Egypt
Great products deserve better than phone-camera photos. You send what you have — we handle art direction, clean-up and light until the product earns its price tag.
This is retouching and art direction rather than a photo shoot: you send the images you already have, and we take them to studio grade. For most stores that is the faster and cheaper route, because the bottleneck is rarely the camera — it is dust, glare, inconsistent backgrounds and eleven products shot on eleven different afternoons.
The goal is an honest one. Dust, glare and clutter go; the product stays exactly what it is. What changes is the presentation, and whether the whole catalogue looks curated or accumulated.
What we do to the images
- From raw to studio-grade — you send the photos you have. We handle art direction, clean-up and light until the product earns its price tag.
- Honest retouch — dust, glare and clutter gone. The product stays true; the presentation gets premium.
- A consistent catalogue — every shot speaks the same visual language, so the whole store looks curated.
- Proven on real stores — it is how CMYH's gallery and Al Badawi's sandals got their look.
Why this is a conversion job, not a decoration job
A product page has to answer one question before doubt forms: is this worth it? Copy argues the case, but the image is what gets believed. A premium price next to a photo taken on a shop counter under a fluorescent tube is an argument the page loses before anyone reads a word.
That is why we treat imagery as part of the product page rather than as an asset delivered separately — the crop, the background and the consistency across the grid are layout decisions as much as photographic ones.
Catalogues you can open right now
- CMYH — from an Instagram bio link to a site with real checkout, booked out within a month.
- Al Badawi — handmade leather from Palestine, in a bilingual storefront that ships worldwide.
- Beef Point — premium beef, cut fresh and delivered across Cairo and Giza.
How a project runs
- We start with the friction, not the feature list — where the current setup actually breaks, and what it costs when it does.
- A written scope: which modules go in phase one, what each one does, the timeline and what is explicitly out.
- We build in phases, so one department is live and useful before the next starts. You see working software early, not a demo at the end.
- Handover in your name: code, database, hosting and documentation. You can move all of it to another team without asking us.
Common questions
Do you shoot the products yourselves?
No — this service is art direction and retouching on the photos you send. If a shoot is genuinely needed we will say so and point you to a photographer rather than pretend otherwise.
What do we need to send?
The best images you already have, in the highest resolution available, and ideally shot on a plain surface in daylight. We will tell you which ones are worth retouching and which are worth re-taking on a phone with better light.
How consistent can a mixed catalogue get?
Very, up to a point. Backgrounds, colour and light can be unified across almost anything. What cannot be fixed after the fact is a shot that is out of focus or taken at a wildly different angle.
Is this only for stores?
Mostly, but not only — the same work applies to a portfolio or a services site where what you show is the thing being judged.
