These terms govern your use of the YMS Studio website and any services we deliver. By using the site or engaging us for work, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

1. About this site

This site showcases the work of YMS Studio, a design and engineering studio based in Cairo. Content on the site is informational. Nothing here constitutes a binding offer to provide services until a written engagement is signed by both parties.

2. Acceptable use

You may browse, read, and share content from this site for personal or business research purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of this site without written permission
• Scrape the site programmatically in a way that burdens our servers
• Use the site to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or those of our clients
• Misrepresent yourself as YMS Studio or any of our clients
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

3. Intellectual property

All site content — design, code, copy, photography, case studies — is owned by YMS Studio or our clients (where credited). Trademarks and logos shown in case studies belong to their respective owners and appear only to identify the work performed.

For client engagements: deliverables become the client's property upon final payment as specified in the signed SOW. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio and case studies unless the SOW expressly forbids it.

4. Engagements and payments

Any project work is governed by a separate signed SOW that specifies scope, deliverables, timeline, payment schedule, and termination conditions. Typical terms:

• Scope: Fixed-scope, fixed-price, fixed-timeline. Changes outside scope are quoted separately.
• Payment: 50% on signature, 50% on delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
• Currency: EGP for Egyptian clients, USD for international.
• Timeline: Six weeks from kickoff is our standard. Specified per project in the SOW.

5. Confidentiality

Information you share with us during inquiries or active engagements is treated as confidential. We do not share client business information publicly without consent. Case studies are written and published only with client approval.

6. Warranties and disclaimers

For active client engagements: we warrant that deliverables will meet the specifications in the signed SOW and be free of material defects for 30 days after delivery, during which we will fix bugs at no cost.

For this website: content is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Use of the site is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YMS Studio's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or our services is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Indemnification

If a third party brings a claim against us as a result of your unlawful use of the site or your breach of these terms, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time without notice if you breach these terms or use the site unlawfully. For active engagements, termination is governed by the signed SOW.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt — unless the signed SOW for a specific engagement specifies otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
